Titan Aviation Becomes Cayman Civil Aviation-approved CAMO Unit

Titan Aviation, an aviation industry services provider based in Dubai with operations worldwide has been approved by Cayman Civil Aviation Authority as a Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Organization (CAMO) unit as per Overseas Territories Aviation Requirements (OTAR) Part 39.

This approval enables Titan Aviation to monitor and maintain the aircraft flown under Cayman Islands registry. Titan Aviation operates a fleet of Cayman Islands registered aircraft on behalf of the owners which are based in the Middle East and India. On being awarded the approval, Mr. Javed Ahmed, Technical Coordinator and Airworthiness Manager of the company pointed out that approval to function as a CAMO unit enables Titan Aviation to satisfy the regulatory requirements and in addition it also ensures safe and reliable operations for the owners. “This is crucial for us since we are very keen to ensure that our aircraft owners are always protected and fly in aircraft that are maintained to the highest standards of safety; so this approval is an additional value added service offer from us to our valuable clients”.

Titan Aviation has inducted competent and knowledgeable team members into the Maintenance and Planning department to ensure strict adherence to the regulations. The company also expects to offer this service to more aircraft owners in the Region and is already in talks to induct a Lineage 1000, Gulfstream 200 and Legacy 600 into the managed fleet to be registered under Cayman Civil Aviation Authority. The company is also in the process of securing OTAR 125 approval from the Cayman Civil Aviation Authority to undertake complete flight operations supervision of its managed fleet of aircraft.
